MTA New York City SubwayThe New York subway runs 24 hours a day, serving 468 stations. Air-conditioned subway cars will take you almost anywhere in the city faster than a taxi and for a fraction of the cost. Subways run every 2 to 5 minutes during rush hours, 10 to 15 minutes during the day, and about every 20 minutes between midnight and 5:00 am.
